Available Adults

This is where we will list our available or retiring adult mini schnauzers. Most of the ones we will post on here will be retiring from our program, but there are times we take back a puppy we sold when the new owner can no longer keep it for various reasons. This is an attempt to keep the dog from ending up in the animal shelter and also help the previous owner recoup some of the money they spent. The re-homing fee will be based on varying factors such as how much I paid to reacquire the dog, if it can leave with registration papers (for breeders only), etc. Our retiring females are usually the cheapest due to leaving it up to the new owner to get her spayed and teeth cleaned. I leave this up to the owner so they can choose the most cost effective way to have those procedures done. Emancipet offers low-cost spay/neuter for around $125 if you're looking for an affordable option and are local to a location.

Most of our females are in guardian homes, which end up being their forever homes, so we don't have retiring females very often.

Pictures posted are of them in full coat, but we do groom them down for ease of maintenance and due to Texas heat. The beards and eyebrows are kept longer though. 
*I cannot stress this enough - it can take days, weeks, or months for an adult dog to adjust to his or her new home and surroundings! A new home, new people, fewer or no dogs, different experiences, etc., can absolutely make him or her nervous or unsure for a while! Some transition seamlessly while some take time! Do not inquire if you’re not willing to give him or her the necessary time to adjust!
