Available Adults
This is where we will list our available or retiring adult mini schnauzers. Most of the ones we will post on here will be retiring from our program, but there are times we take back a puppy we sold when the new owner can no longer keep it for various reasons. This is an attempt to keep the dog from ending up in the animal shelter and also help the previous owner recoup some of the money they spent. The re-homing fee will be based on varying factors such as how much I paid to reacquire the dog, if it can leave with registration papers (for breeders only), etc.
We send our retired adults home already spayed or neutered, unless stated otherwise for whatever reason listed.
Most of our females are in guardian homes, which end up being their forever homes, so we don't have retiring females very often.
Pictures posted are of them in full coat, but we do groom them down for ease of maintenance and due to Texas heat. The beards and eyebrows are kept longer though.
*I cannot stress this enough - it can take days, weeks, or months for an adult dog to adjust to his or her new home and surroundings! A new home, new people, fewer or no dogs, different experiences, etc., can absolutely make him or her nervous or unsure for a while! Some transition seamlessly while some take time! Do not inquire if you’re not willing to give him or her the necessary time to adjust!
Skye

Skye is our beautiful, laid back, and incredibly loving black harlequin merle. Her DOB is 7/20/24 and she’s approximately 11-12lbs.
She recently whelped a litter of 2 and did wonderfully, but it's not her first small litter, which concerns me. If she ends up with a singleton, she's at a much higher risk of requiring a c-section, which puts the potential puppy at risk as well. We feel it's best to let her live her best life out of the breeding world even though she will be very very missed here. She's such a happy and very good girl. She's up-to-date on her core vaccines, but will be updated on her rabies before leaving. Her spay is scheduled for 10/10/26 and she'll be ready to go on 10/24/26.
Skye is kennel trained and housebroken. She also enjoys her Himalayan yak cheese chews like all the rest of the crew and really loves dog beds. If you're looking for the ultimate good dog, Skye is the one.
